A letter from the Chief Harvest Officer ·
To our customers, partners, and the people who keep paging us,
This year Syntax Energy became the first utility to grow every quarter while getting worse at its core function. I want to be clear that this was not an accident. It was several thousand accidents, carefully harvested.
We set out to prove that wasted computation is a resource. We have proven it beyond reasonable doubt, largely by producing it ourselves. Our grid now generates more waste than any customer, which makes us both the supplier and the market. Economists call this vertical integration. Our engineers call it Tuesday.
Next year we will focus on three priorities: uptime, the appearance of uptime, and communicating the appearance of uptime. I am confident we will achieve at least two of them.
Thank you for your continued trust, which we have chosen to interpret as patience.
Marguerite Okonkwo-Hale
Chief Harvest Officer
